Alamance County EMS uses their freq (156.120) for dispatch only! When an EMS unit calls in all you hear is the dispatcher responding (no simulcast on EMS freq.) The EMS units only talk on VIPER. The Alamance County Fire does simulcast (i.e. you can hear both units and dispatcher).
Swepsonville, Snow Camp, and Eli Whitney fire stations do not dispatch their sub-stations by number. Instead, the district for FIRE calls is divided (these stations only have 1-2 medical vehicles for each station). In Elon's case, however, the district for MEDICAL calls is divided, and both stations respond on fire calls. Snow Camp and Swepsonville also use this system to some extent.
